Turnpike Construction to Continue Through April 12
Construction around Whitpain Township for the turnpike expansion will continue the weeks of April 1 and April 8.

Walsh Construction will be working in the Whitpain area again this week, and, according to a release from the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, contractors will be working around the clock on the six-mile construction area.
Roadway and earth work Monday, April 1 though Friday, April 5, and again Monday April 8 through Friday April 12, from 7 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. each day will be at:
- Oak Ridge Dr., Rosewood Dr., and East Side Dr.
- Walton Rd., Fountain Rd., Allandale Rd., Colton Dr., Loretta Ln., Timberfare Cr., Beacon Hill Cr., and Jolly Rd. in the Plymouth Township area.
Mermaid Lake, Jolly Rd., Meadow Dr. area will have construction during daytime hours, 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each day, for the week of April 1.

Structure work will take place the week of April 1 during daytime hours at Township Line Rd. at the Mainline Bridge, an at Hickory Rd. in Plymouth Township on the Mainline Bridge.
During the weeks of April 1 and April 8, there will be work on the Jolly Rd. Bridge and in Worcester Township on the Skippack Pike Mainline Bridge.

Retaining Walls work will be done during the week of April 1 on Jolly Rd., Meadow Dr., Wick Ln., and DeKalb Pike in the township. Work will be done during the week of April 1 and April 8 at Mermaid Lake, Jolly Rd., and Meadow Dr.
Preparation work for installation, and the installation of sound barriers will occur along Jolly Rd., Meadow Dr., Wick Ln. and DeKalb Pike. during daytime hours the week of April 1 and April 8.
