Two Alleged Thieves Nabbed in Whitpain on Two Warrants
Ryan Farris, of Boyertown, and homeless man Jesse Sterner were taken into custody by sheriffs' departments on Berks County and Montgomery County warrants, respectively.

Two men allegedly involved in a theft in Towamencin were taken into custody with the help of Whitpain Township Police on outstanding warrants from two counties.
Whitpain Township Police said Ryan Farris, 22, of the 200 block of Funk Road, Boyertown, and homeless man Jesse Sterner, 25, were the occupants of a black Pontiac stopped at the entrance to Montgomery County Community College on Morris Road on May 21 at 11:40 a.m.
Towamencin Township Police requested departments to be on the lookout for the vehicle, as its occupants were allegedly involved in a theft, police said.

During the stop, Towamencin Township Police responded and said it would proceed with charges against the two by summons, police said.
Officers discovered an outstanding warrant from Berks Count for Farris and an outstanding warrant for Sterner from Montgomery County, police said.

Both were held and later released to respective sheriffs' departments.
