Whitpain Lawyer Pleads Guilty to Two DUI Crashes
Kate Kelly, a Whitpain resident, has plead guilty to two drunken driving crashes that occurred in 2009 and 2010.

Montgomery County lawyer, and Whitpain resident, Kate M. Kelly, pled guilty in county court to two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with two crashes in 2009 and 2010 in East Norriton and Norristown respectively.
, Kelly, 47, of Yorkshire Drive in Whitpain, the 2009 accident occurred at Township Line Road and Whitehall Rd. and a hospital blood test revealed that Kelly had a blood alcohol content of 0.27%, as well as traces of oxycodone and other prescription medications.
In November of 2010, Kelly was involved in a second accident, with a BAC of 0.21%.

According to the Ambler Gazette, her vehicle collided with a SEPTA bus in the 1700 block of Markley St. in Norristown. Seven passengers on the bus were injured and Kelly was medevaced to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment of her injuries.
Judge Gary S. Silow requested that Kelly surrender her driver's license immediately to the court.

Kelly will be sentenced later this year by Silow and currently remains free on bail.
