Whitpain Police Reports: Blue Bell Man Arrested for Urinating in Bushes
Police incident reports from Whitpain Township Police Department.

DUI - On Sept 30th at 2:38 a.m., an officer observed a black sedan travel through a red light, east bound on Skippack Pk at Dekalb Pk. The officer stopped the car in the driveway to the Whitpain Police Station and spoke with the driver, Frank Solla, 31 yrs old of the 200 block of Independence Rd in King of Prussia. As the officer spoke to Mr Solla, he appeared to be intoxicated. He was taken to Mercy Suburban Hospital for blood and later released. Charges including DUI, Driving Under Suspension and traffic offenses will be filed once the blood results are received.
Retail Theft - On Sept 29th at 3:14 pm, police responded to Kohl’s Department Store, 1301 Skippack Pk for two females in custody for Retail Theft. Loss Prevention officers reported that Lupita Solis, 46 yrs old and her mother, Maria Acereto-Solis, 73 yrs old, both of the 900 block of Cherry Ln in Lansdale concealed jewelry and clothing items and left the store without paying for them. Maria Acereto-Solis had $239.50 worth of merchandise and Lupita Solis was in possession of $194.86 worth of merchandise. Both women were arraigned by District Justice John Kessler and released on ROR bail.
Disorderly Conduct - On September 30th at 2:22 am, Brian Laksh, 22 yrs old of the 900 block of Valley Rd was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. An officer on patrol observed four males standing at the intersection of Dekalb Pk and Skippack Pk, and noticed that one of the males was urinating in the bushes of the Sunoco Gas Station at 889 Dekalb Pk.

Hit and Run - On Sept 30th at approximately 9:10 pm police were called to the 1700 block of Pulaski Dr for a report of a Hit and Run. The striking vehicle is believed to be a Honda sedan and the passenger’s side rearview mirror was located at the scene. There should be other minor damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this accident is asked to call Whitpain Township Police at 610-279-9033.
