Whitpain Township Police Poised for $100K Renovation
Supervisors approved contracts with S.A. Morris and Co. and JEB Electrical for work to the police department in the coming weeks.

Whitpain Township Police Department will certainly look arresting once its $100,000-plus renovation is complete.
Last week, the board of supervisors approved S.A. Morris and Co. to be the general contractor for the renovations at an $84,600 cost, and JEB Electrical Contracting to complete electrical work at $19,000, according to The Ambler Gazette.
Renovations include expanding the communication center, which is visible to the public from the lobby of the station, by adding more equipment and technology. For instance, the department will add more monitors to watch video from cameras placed at various intersections, according to the article.
