Whitpain Township Proposes No Tax Increase
No tax increase in 2013 would make three years with a flat tax rate in Whitpain Township.

Whitpain Township residents can expect another year of a flat tax rate, according to an article in the Ambler Gazette.
At the township's first budget workshop meeting, Township Manager Roman Pronczak said the township is not proposing a tax increase this year, the third year without a tax increase in the township.
The millage rate in Whitpain Township will remain at 3.2 mills

Pronczak added that general fund expenditures for the township are down $109,351 from the 2012 fiscal year's budget.
The township also continues to have a AAA bond waiting from Moody's, one of only five township in Pennsylvania to have this rating.

There will be two more public budget workshop meetings, Oct. 23 and Nov. 13, at the township building at 9 a.m.
According to the Gazette, the board expects to adopt the budget at its Dec. 4 meeting.
