Retiring Supervisor Fred Conner was recognized at the Board of Supervisors’ meeting on December 21.

“Fred has faithfully served our community in numerous capacities over the last 17 years,” said Board Chair Michele Minnick. “ My colleagues and I wish him well in his much-deserved retirement from the Board of Supervisors.”
Fred began serving Whitpain Township almost two decades ago as a member of the Open Space Preservation Committee. He also served on the Planning Commission, Zoning Hearing Board, and has been a member of the Board of Supervisors since 2009.

Over the course of his service to the Township, Whitpain has expanded its park and trail systems, received a coveted Aaa Bond Rating from Moody’s on multiple occasions, and focused on revitalization efforts in West Ambler.
