Wissahickon Support Union Votes to Strike, No Plans for Work Stoppage
The WEA-S voted Thursday to authorize a strike, however, there are not plans to begin a work stoppage.

Thursday night, the Wissahickon Education Alliance - Support (WEA-S) members voted to authorize a strike.
Joann Groark, co-president of WEA, told Patch that the union must give the district at least 48 hours notice pripor to any work stoppage, however, there are currently no plans amongst the union to strike.
However, according to Groark, the members voted to give the union authorization to call a strike at anytime after the 48 hour window if needed.
