Yojones Fro-Yo Opens in Lower Gwynedd
Lower Gwynedd's newest addition is a locally owned frozen yogurt shop on Bethlehem Pike.
Yojones Frozen Yogurt, the newest addition to the Lower Gwynedd community, opened Thursday at noon.
Owner, Ron Jones, said as a Lower Gwynedd resident for 15 years, he saw the void of dessert locations and spaces to take children after school and after activities.
The self-serve frozen yogurt shop offers 12 different flavors, 18 including twists, including sorbets, no sugar added, gluten free, nonfat and more options. Jones said there will always be a vanilla, chocolate, tart and sorbet variety available.

There's also a very large variety of toppings, including fresh fruit, chocolate based cookies and candies, nuts, cereals and much more.
Jones said because the shop is self-serve, customers can take as much or a little as they want of the flavors they want and make their own personal dish of frozen yogurt.

He continued that when selecting flavors and toppings for opening day, he looked at trends in the frozen yogurt industry and took guidance from industry professionals.
"Frozen yogurt is very popular in the dessert [field]," said Jones. Yojones is independently owned company, said Jones. He told Patch that they are doing fro-yo similar to other local shops, but putting their own spin on it.
Yojones is located at 832 N Bethlehem Pike in Spring House and is open Sunday through Thursday from noon until 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from noon until 10 p.m. Learn more about Yojones on their Facebook page and on their website.
Jones said that he hopes Yojones will become part of the "fabric of the community."
