New Horizons Senior Center

Watercolor Workshop: Award winning artist Carol Kardon comes monthly to New Horizons to teach introductory techniques to create beautiful watercolor paintings. Join other art enthusiasts and make your own unique creation under the guidance of a master at her craft. Carol offers simple tips and teaches easy tricks to help make your painting come alive in a fun and unique way. All materials are provided for in this FREE workshop.
Friday, December 19 at 1:00 PM: Snow: Join renowned artist Carol Kardon for another fun and informative session! This time we are looking at how to depict snow in art pieces. Learn how to add that extra special touch to any winter scene and explore all the various ways snow can be shown in art. Optional Lunch: Roast Beef w/ Burgundy Gravy, served at Noon. (Please register for the meal by December 10)

Grab a goodie, wander over to the table and join in the conversation about everything new and exciting at New Horizons!​Refreshments provided.

The Shalom Momma Postpartum Group offers a welcoming space where new and returning parents can give and receive support, ask questions, and build a parent community close to home. Each week features a topic related to you and your baby, along with a song and a story.
This group is open to all parents up to eight months after delivery and is not restricted to first-time parents. Join as soon as you feel ready after your baby arrives!
Shalom Momma partners with Jewish institutions to enhance maternal mental health and strengthen the well-being of parents with children ages 0-5.
