1-Year-Old Boy Featured In PA Mother's Sex Video: Police

"This is family time," the woman said in the video, according to police.

BALDWIN, PA — A 1-year-old boy was placed on his mother's lower back while a sexual act was being performed on her and filmed, police said. Two other videos show the infant present and nearby while the mother was engaged in sexual activity with her boyfriend, according to court documents.

Both the mother, 21, who is from Baldwin but is not being named by Patch to protect the child's identity, and her boyfriend, of Munhall, now face numerous criminal charges.

The police investigation began when the woman's ex-boyfriend discovered the videos when he reclaimed a phone, that was in his name, after their breakup. According to court documents, the ex contacted police who reviewed the videos and found:

  • One in which the infant was sitting near his mother's head while she and her boyfriend were having sex.
  • One which the woman appears to have recorded in which the infant sat on her back while she engaged in a sex act. In the video, she giggles and twice remarks, "This is family time."
  • One in which the naked infant grabs the phone which had been set up on the floor to record her having sex.

The woman and her boyfriend have been charged with two counts of sexual abuse of children, possession of child pornography, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with a minor, criminal use of a communication facility, conspiracy of corruption of minors and indecent assault.

Attempts made by Patch to contact the pair were not successful.

The boyfriend faces a preliminary hearing on April 5. The mother's preliminary hearing will occur April 12.
