
The following results are from recent hearings held in the Wallace Building office of Magistrate John N. Bova of District Court 05-2-18:

- Baldwin Borough police charged Dana Lynn Lachman, 30, of Hamlet Court in Baldwin Borough, with driving under the influence of alcohol on June 1. Lachman's July 31 hearing before Bova was waived, and she faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Sept. 13. She then had an Oct. 26 pretrial conference, where she was scheduled for a non-jury trial to begin on Jan. 23 (UPDATE: continued for Feb. 28).

- Baldwin police charged Kevin John Kubiczki Jr., 18, of Arlington Avenue in Pittsburgh's South Side Slopes neighborhood, with DUI (underage) on July 21. Kubiczki's Sept. 18 hearing before Bova was waived, and he faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Nov. 1, where he was granted a Jan. 11 accelerated rehabilitative disposition (ARD) hearing.

- Baldwin police charged Jacob Petrovich, 20, of Peterson Drive in Jefferson Hills Borough, with DUI and Rachel Marie Arms, 25, of Lanmore Avenue in Brentwood Borough, with possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a vehicle, both stemming from a traffic stop on Route 51 on July 4. Petrovich's Sept. 18 hearing before Bova was waived, and he faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Nov. 1, where he was granted a Jan. 25 ARD hearing. Bova found Arms guilty on Sept. 24 and fined her approximately $100.

- Baldwin police charged Elaine Catherine Healy, 24, of Carriage Drive in Marshall Township, with DUI on May 17. Healy's July 24 hearing before Bova was waived, and she faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Sept. 6, where she was granted a Nov. 2 ARD hearing. She was then sentenced to 12 months of probation.

- Baldwin police charged Michael Charles Simcoe, 33, of Willett Road in Brentwood, with DUI and DUI (drugs) on July 22. Bova held Simcoe's charges on Nov. 13, and Simcoe will now face them at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Jan. 3.

- Baldwin police charged Ryan D. King, 34, of Harbor Creek Drive in , with DUI on Aug. 25. King's Nov. 13 hearing before Bova was waived, and he will face that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Jan. 3.

- Baldwin police charged Robert Alan Gneuhs, 68, of Keeport Drive in Baldwin Borough's The Residences of South Hills apartments complex, with  on Jan. 8. The careless driving charge was withdrawn on Feb. 21, but Gneuhs faced the remaining charges at the Allegheny County Courthouse on April 9. His case was then part of a Nov. 14 docket conference, and that conference resulted in a sentence of 12 months of probation for the DUI charge. The failure to signal while turning charge was withdrawn.

- Baldwin police charged Erika L. Wodarek, 40, of Dashwood Drive in Bethel Park, with DUI on June 26, 2011. Wodarek's , and she faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Nov. 2, 2011. Wodarek then faced , where it was determined that she would have . That trial was canceled, however, and replaced by an ARD hearing, which resulted in a sentence of 12 months of probation.

- Baldwin police charged Eric Pio Andrews, 40, of Meadowcrest Road in Baldwin Borough, with DUI on May 11. Andrews' Aug. 7 hearing before Bova was waived, and he faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Sept. 20, where he was granted a Nov. 16 ARD hearing. He was then sentenced to 12 months of probation.

- Baldwin police charged Catherine Anderson, 23, of Hummingbird Lane in Allegheny Township, with DUI on July 29. Anderson's Oct. 2 hearing before Bova was waived, and she faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Nov. 19, where she was granted a Jan. 25 ARD hearing.

- Baldwin police charged James Boylan, 24, of Hillcrest Drive in Ross Township, with DUI on Aug. 11. Boylan's Oct. 2 hearing before Bova was waived, and he faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Nov. 19, where he was granted a Jan. 25 ARD hearing.

- Baldwin police charged Kenneth Lee Lowmiller, 50, of Cochran Mill Road in Jefferson Hills, with DUI and failure to report an accident on April 27. Lowmiller's June 26 hearing before Bova was waived, and he faced those charges at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Aug. 9. His case was then part of a Nov. 20 docket conference, where he pleaded guilty to the DUI charge and was sentenced to four days of confinement. The other charge was withdrawn.

- Baldwin police charged Mathew Keith DeFelice, 24, of Grandview Avenue in McKeesport, with DUI on March 18. DeFelice's June 19 hearing before Bova was waived, and he faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Aug. 2. His case was then part of a Nov. 21 docket conference, where he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to complete a 90-day individualized program plan and 18 months of probation, and was fined an undisclosed amount.

- Baldwin police charged Robert Rodwich, 51, of Willett Road in Brentwood, with DUI on Aug. 22. Rodwich's Oct. 9 hearing before Bova was waived, and he faced that charge at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Nov. 27. His case will now be part of a Jan. 23 docket conference. That conference should result in the next legal step for Rodwich's charge.
