AAA Honors Baldwin Police Department
The department was lauded by the AAA for its traffic enforcement capabilities.
BALDWIN BOROUGH, PA — The borough police department received the AAA's platinum award at the AAA Award's Banquet for Highway Safety. The award is the highest one that can be received and is given to agencies that provide extensive work of traffic enforcement and educational and awareness programs.
Accepting the award for the department was Officer Lou Parrotta. He serves as the department's traffic supervisor and is also the South Hills DUI Task Force coordinator, overseeing the DUI task force for 17 agencies in southern Allegheny County and the Mon-Valley.
