This business started in 1930 at the bottom of Glass Run Road.

The company sold Atlantic Gasoline and Armstrong Tires, repaired cars and offered 24-hour towing. The owners also ran a small, adjacent neighborhood confectionery store.

The picture on the right is the business's original building with an addition and white tile added to the front of it. That picture was taken in 1963.

The small car in front of the garage to the right is the all-fiberglass Studebaker Avanti. The Avanti was advertised that it cost one penny per gallon to run.
