Baldwin Man Charged In Mt. Washington Shooting

The shooting occurred early Thursday in Pittsburgh's Mt. Washington neighborhood.

BALDWIN, PA — A Baldwin man has been arrested in connection with a shooting early Thursday in Pittsburgh's Mt. Washington neighborhood.

Brandon Becher, 21, has been charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and firearms not to be carried without a license.

Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 2 a.m. Thursday in the Bailey Avenue area, where they found a male with multiple gunshot wounds to the leg. He was taken to a local hospital and was reported in stable condition.

Becher is being housed in the Allegheny County Jail.
