Baldwin Man Charged With Sexually Assauting Teen

A Baldwin man is behind bars and facing numerous felony charges.

BALDWIN, PA — A Baldwin man and Pittsburgh Public Schools employee has been accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.

Bryan Deering, 45, has been charged with statutory sexual assault, sexual assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors and selling or furnishing liquor of malt or brewed beverages (alcohol) to minors.

Deering works as a heavy cleaner and fireman at Brashear High School in Beechview, according to a school district staff directory.

According to police, the incident assault occurred in Deering's home last month. Deering allegedly gave the girl alcohol and marijuana and then a 14-year-old girl alcohol and marijuana and then sexually assaulted her.

Deering is in the Allegheny County Jail awaiting a Sept. 12 preliminary hearing.
