Baldwin Sex Offender Faces New Sex-Related Charges
In 2017, James Wright pleaded guilty to committing a lewd act in front of a teen at Kennywood. Now he faces sex-related charges in Virginia.
BALDWIN, PA — A Baldwin man who once pleaded guilty to committing a sex act in front of a 13-year-old girl while in a Kennywood ride line now faces new sex-related charges in Virginia.
James Wright, a registered sex offender in Allegheny County, was charged with indecent exposure and open lewdness by Alexandria VA police, after multiple people complained that a man was using a GoPro camera to film them at the Great Lakes water park.
When the house Wright was living in was searched, police said they found several electronic items he isn't permitted to own because of his probation status. The GoPro camera was found at Wright's parents' home, police said.

An SD card allegedly contained several videos of women and young girls taken without their at places such as swimming pools and stores, according to police. A video of Wright committing a lewd act while in a room with two girls.
In 2017, Wright, then 39, was charged with committing a lewd act in front of, and having inappropriate contact with, a 13-year-old girl who was in line at a Kennywood ride.
