Forget About Swimming In Baldwin Pool This Summer

The Baldwin swimming pool will not open this year. Find out why here.

BALDWIN, PA — The borough's swimming pool has been a source of summer fun for residents since its construction in 1972.

But after a half-century, the concrete structure, the piping that feeds the water from the pool to the pump room and back along with the pumps themselves are failing, according to borough officials.

As a result, the pool will not be open this season as repairs are made.

Disappointing news certainly, but not all is bad. Brentwood has agreed to allow Baldwin residents to use its pool for this year and entry fees will be at the Brentwood resident rates.
