A local nonprofit organization is working to make the Brownsville Road area a regional destination, according to the Tribune Review.

The newspaper reports that Economic Development South is developing a strategic action plan this spring of the busy road from Nobles Lane in Carrick to Saw Mill Run Boulevard at the Brentwood/Whitehall border.

The goal of the plan is to bring in more business and improve the streetscape, transportation and public safety along Brownsville Road.
