How Low Will They Go? Experts Predict Local Gas Prices Will Drop Even More
Retail gas prices have dropped steadily since the end of February.

The summer driving season is just around the corner, a time when drivers brace for more pain at the pump.
But maybe not this year.
Jeff Edwin was pleasantly surprised on Monday when he filled up his SUV at the Sheetz along Babcock Boulevard for $3.57 per gallon.

"Get it while it's less than $3.60, you know? It's a good thing," Edwin told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "I'm just hopeful they stay the way they are and don't start rising again for as long as they can. I'm an average worker with average pay ... and it makes a big difference in my life."
Retail gas prices have dropped steadily since the end of February because more refineries have come back on line after routine maintenance and crude oil prices have moved sharply lower, AAA reports.

Analysts predict that prices could fall another 20 cents per gallon during the next two months because of lower-than-expected demand in the world's two largest economies, the United States and China.
