UPMC Converts Former Toys R Us Store Into Specialty Clinic
UPMC will open the clinic in one of the area's vacated Toys R Us buildings.

WEST MIFFLIN, PA — UPMC has converted the former Toys R Us on Clairton Boulevard near the former Century III Mall into a 46,000-square-foot specialty clinic to serve to the Route 51 corridor. The clinic, which will provide more than 20 patient-centered outpatient services, opens Dec. 1.
Services available include outpatient surgery, UPMC Magee-Womens Specialty Services, heart and vascular, diagnostic imaging and UPMC Children’s Express Care—UPMC’s after-hours pediatric urgent care clinic. The UPMC Outpatient Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
"An established goal in serving our communities is to make it as easy as possible for patients to obtain the high-quality care and services they need close to home, conveniently and efficiently," Mark O'Hern, president of UPMC East and UPMC McKeesport, said in a news release.
