Whitehall Library to Celebrate 50th Anniversary

A 50th anniversary celebration will be held May 5, and the public is invited.

Whitehall Public Library, a cornerstone of the community for decades, will celebrate its 50th anniversary on May 5, and the community is invited to celebrate, too.

The public is invited to the May 5 cocktail reception and dinner at South Hills Country Club to celebrate the library, its history and its future.

Historical exhibits and tributes to the library will be displayed, and the community's Golden Anniversary Quilt will be unveiled.

Guests will have opportunities to support the library and win various raffle baskets sponsored by Friends of the Whitehall Public Library.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Baldwin High School student actors and musicians, featuring highlights from this year’s musical production of Hairspray.
