Whitehall Woman's Death: Handyman Pleads Guilty To Homicide
Elizabeth Weisfeld's handyman, Douglas Berry, has admitted to killing her.

WHITEHALL, PA — When Elizabeth Wiesnefeld hired a handyman, she ended up hiring the man who would kill her.
Douglas Berry, 50, of Liberty, pleaded guilty Monday to charges of third-degree murder,
burglary, theft and receiving stolen property, according to the Allegheny County District Attorney's office. As part of the plea arrangement, Berry will receive a prison sentence of 17 to 40 years.
Berry was Wisenfeld's handyman.

Wisenfeld was reported missing by her daughter in April 2019. Police found blood in Wiesenfeld's bed and said a masked person used Wisenfeld's ATM at a PNC Bank following her disappearance.
Wisenfeld's remains were located at a dump in Plum nearly a year after her disappearance.
