12-Year-Old Girl Hit By Vehicle At Bensalem Bus Stop (ICYMI)
Police say the girl was crossing the street to get onto a school bus, which had its stop sign and bar activated.
BENSALEM, PA — Police in Bensalem were on the scene Monday morning after a 12-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle at a school bus stop.
The incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Bensalem Boulevard and Timber Lane.
According to police, the girl was crossing Bensalem Boulevard to get onto a bus when she was hit by another vehicle. They say it appears the school bus had its stop signal and bar activated at the time.

The girl was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for treatment, according to police.
The driver who hit the girl remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators, police said.
