2 State Police Cars Struck In Lower Bucks Co. Chase

State Police at Trevose said the chase began on I-95, before ending in Philadelphia Wednesday, with two men in custody. Two others escaped.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A State Police chase that started in Lower Bucks County ended in Philadelphia on Wednesday, with two people caught and two others escaping after their vehicle struck two police cars, authorities said.

A State Trooper from the Trevose barracks tried to stop a vehicle that sped away before police boxed it in on Interstate 95 near Aramingo Avenue in Philadelphia, police said.

Police said that four men were in the vehicle at the time. Two were caught, but the two other men got away, police said.

State Police did not say why the vehicle was pulled over. It was unknown at this time whether there were any injuries from the pursuit.

State Police said the incident is under investigation and more information will be released when it becomes available.
