Company officials told the business journal that they are converting a former used car dealership and auto shop into their new headquarters.

The company gutted the building to create a modern office and a site that can service its buses, including a lounge where motorcoach drivers can plan upcoming trips or rest after being on the road.

Starr Bus Charter & Tours provides bus charter service throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York, according to its website.

That service includes 1-to 27-day motorcoach vacations to several destinations, including Lancaster, Washington, D.C., Niagara Falls and Charleston, South Carolina, as well as air travel and cruise trip packages.

In addition to its namesake Starr Bus Charter and Starr Tours companies, Starr also owns Eyre Tours based in Maryland, and College Break Bus, which transports college students to and from certain schools in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast during their breaks, according to its website.

Starr has been based in Hamilton, N.J., since it was founded in 1947 by Borowsky's grandfather, Gilbert Sussman. She and her husband Pete Borowsky are now the third-generation owners of the travel company.

The couple purchased the roughly 3.2-acre parcel in June through their business entity 3G and Beyond Properties LLC, the journal stated.
