All Bucks Co. Court Houses, Government Buildings Closed Thursday
Bucks County's government buildings will close for the day following flooding, tornadic storms, and power outages.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Due to ongoing weather hazards in Bucks County, officials announced Thursday morning that Bucks County courts and government offices will be closed all day.
In a message to residents, officials cited "ongoing hazardous conditions from Wednesday’s storm, including impassable roads, flooding and power outages."
This warning includes the Common Pleas and Magisterial District Courts, and court-related offices, the message read.

Flooding has been widespread in the region as Hurricane Ida's remnants move through Pennsylvania. Though Thursday morning brought sunny skies and lower chances of precipitation, area rivers and creeks are still expected to rise after the night's extreme weather. The National Weather Service issued flood warnings throughout much of the region that remain in effect.

Neshaminy Creek's flooding near Langhorne has already surpassed initial forecasts, according to NWS data. The last recorded water level was 20.81 feet, half a foot above the forecasted levels.

The Delaware River's water level is 16.72 feet at Stockton, and 11.34 feet at the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge. NWS forecasts that the river will still rise, following intense flooding conditions in Lambertville and Yardley last night. The highest water levels are expected this evening, after which point water levels should start to go down.
At least one tornadic event is also believed to have moved through Bucks County on Wednesday, with several possible tornadoes having hit multiple counties in eastern Pennsylvania.
