Bensalem Parks To Close Over Coronavirus
The closures become official at sunset on Wednesday, township officials announced.
BENSALEM, PA — Parks in Bensalem will be closed at sunset on Wednesday in an effort to curb the spread of the new coronavirus.
Township officials announced the closure plans Wednesday afternoon. Until Wednesday, Bensalem parks had remained open, while playground equipment had been declared off limits.
All township facilities are now closed to the public through at least Thursday, April 30. That includes Bensalem's administration building, public works department, senior center, tax office, country club and community park.
