Bensalem Police Investigating Drop Box Theft

Police say an unknown male entered the Village Square Apartments' leasing office and stole multiple checks from the dropbox he forced open.

BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem Police are currently looking for a suspect who was caught on camera stealing checks from a dropbox.

On Feb. 2, around 3:30 a.m., an unknown male suspect, clad in a black ski mask, entered the Village Square Apartments' leasing office, where he was seen forcing open a dropbox and taking multiple checks.

The suspect was described as a light-skinned black male, wearing a red and black shirt, black pants and black boots in addition to the black ski mask.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact the Bensalem Police at 215-633-3719. They can also leave an anonymous tip on the police department's CrimeWatch website.
