
A Holy Ghost Prep freshman and karate black belt is training for the 2014 World Championships after winning medals and top honors recently.
Bensalem resident Kyle Leon won gold medals in Open Hand Forms, Weapons, Point Sparring and was named the Youth Under 17 years old Black Belt Grand Champion during his recent competition at the World Tang Soo Do Regional Championships in Lake Harmony.Â
The win marks Kyle’s third Regional Grand Championship. He previously won the Grand Champion Title in 2008 and 2011 and was runner up in 2009, 2010, and 2012. Â

Kyle and his senior instructor and 18 years old and over Men’s Black Belt Grand Champion Louis Donahue are both preparing and will be competing at the 2014 World Championships in Greensboro, N.C.
