Due to the surge in coronavirus cases in Bucks County, the township will no longer be allowing walk-ins.

BENSALEM, PA — The fall surge of coronavirus cases in Bucks County has led Bensalem officials to limit access to the township building.

Starting Monday, Nov. 23, the township building, at 2400 Byberry Rd., will be open to the public by appointment only. In a notice Thursday, officials said they made the change "due to the recent and continuing rise in COVID cases, and to be proactive in protecting our emplo9yees and the public."

Anyone needing to make an appointment should contact the department they are trying to reach directly, the notice said.
