Bensalem Township Council Meeting 2022: What To Know
The meeting will see a total reorganization of the Council, with a new President, Vice President, and other positions being filled.
BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem Township will see a complete reorganization of its Council at the its next meeting on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022.
The meeting will see the election of a new President, Vice President, Township Secretary and Assistant Secretary, Municipal Clerk, and Certified Public Accounting Firm; the firm will oversee all Township accounts from the previous year.
Council members will also see the designation of an official Depository for Township funds from the previous year, as well as for the Township's News Media for legal advertising.

Mayoral appointments will be consented for several Council members as they oversee various Boards, including the Code Appeals Board, Community Development Advisory Board, Disabled Persons Advisory Board, Drug and Alcohol Advisory Board, Economic Development Corporation, Emergency Services Advisory Board, and others.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Bensalem Township Municipal Building, located at 2400 Byberry Rd. in Bensalem. The meeting can be viewed online through the Township's YouTube channel. It can be viewed live on channels 22 (Comcast Xfinity) in Bensalem and 34 (Verizon Fios).
