Bensalem Veterans Community To Open

Residents are expected to move into the 40-unit community, with special veterans services, starting next month.

BENSALEM, PA — A residential community for military veterans in Bensalem is set to begin welcoming its first residents.

Bensalem Veterans Residences, where construction was recently completed near the intersection of Mechanicsville Road and Street Road, aims to offer affordable housing for seniors, particularly senior veterans 62 and older.

Leasing for the community started in September and its owners say they expect to fill nearly all of its 40 units soon. Rent for the one-bedroom apartments is $850.
