BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 5, and residents will be casting votes for president, state Attorney General, and their state representatives for Bensalem Township.

The election technically has already begun, as mail-in votes have started to return to Bucks County.

For the general election, residents vote for contested and uncontested races.

Who Is On the Ballot

U.S. President

The top of the ballot features the race for president between Republican candidate, former President Donald Trump, and Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and their running mates for vice president: Democrat Tim Walz and Republican JD Vance. There are also candidates for the Green and Libertarian parties.

Bucks County has several drop boxes for voters to leave their ballots instead of voting at the polls. Secure Mail-In Drop boxes close at 8 p.m. on Election Day and can be found through this link.
