Body Found In Neshaminy State Park ID'd By Tattoo On Her Arm
The family of the woman who was found stabbed to death in Bucks County was able to identify her based on a tattoo.
BENSALEM, PA — The body of a woman found stabbed to death was identified by authorities and family members after a picture of a tattoo bearing her name was made public.
Lisa Jennings, 50, of Philadelphia, was found dead in Neshaminy State Park on Saturday, Jan. 8. A passerby found her body in a wooded area of the park and reported it to authorities.
After investigating the state of the body, Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck confirmed on Monday, Jan. 10, that Jennings had been stabbed to death, with multiple stab and slash wounds found on her neck.

“I asked her, why are you getting that tattoo? What do you need a tattoo for? I guess at the time, it was probably just something to do,” Jennings said. “Whoever knew it would come to something like this?”
As of now, authorities in Bucks County believe Jennings might have been killed in another area, with her body being taken to the spot in the Bensalem park she was located in. The park was closed on Saturday for investigators to find evidence and research the body and her fatal wounds; it was reopened on Sunday, with investigators still overlooking the area she was found in.
