Man Found Dead On Bucks Co. Highway Shot Multiple Times: Police

Police said the 31-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A man found dead along the side of a Bucks County highway early Sunday had been shot multiple times, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The man, identified as 31-year-old Joshua McRae, was found along I-295 with multiple gunshot wounds, Pennsylvania State Trooper Nathan Branosky said.

State police ask anyone with information on the McRae's whereabouts prior to the incident to contact the Criminal Investigation Unit at PSP Trevose at 215-942-3900.

Portions of I-295 and I-95 were closed for several hours early Sunday after the body was found.

NBC10 reported McRae's body was found on the eastbound lanes of the highway in Bensalem, near Mile Marker 0.2.

Action News reported that a passing driver reported the discovery to police.

The investigation into the incident prompted the closure of both highways for several hours. The roads reopened after 7 a.m.
