Bucks County Man ID'd In Fatal Train Crash
SEPTA said service has resumed on the Trenton line following the fatal accident at the Cornwells Heights Station on Wednesday.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — The victim who was struck and killed by an Amtrak train at the Cornwells Heights Station on Wednesday has been identified, authorities said.
Bucks County Coroner Patti Campi told Patch early Thursday morning that the victim was a man from Bucks County.
Ryan Sherman, 35, of Bensalem Township, was identified as the victim who was struck by the train at noon Wednesday, Campi said.

Campi said Sherman took his own life and died from multiple traumatic injuries.
SEPTA officials said service on the Trenton regional rail line was suspended due to an investigation into the incident at the Cornwells Heights Station on the 790 block of Station Avenue in Cornwells Heights.

Andrew Busch, SEPTA's director of media relations, told Patch Thursday morning that since an Amtrak train was involved, SEPTA does not have a role in the investigation.
Busch said that normal regional rail service resumed on the Trenton Line by 3 p.m. Wednesday in time for the evening commute.
