The Bucks County Tour of Honor is an all-expenses paid trip for the veteran and is an experience you will forever treasure, said Salute 2 Service officials.

The Neshaminy School District also participated this year.

On Monday, a group of 48 Maple Point eighth graders accompanied the Bucks County Tour of Honor on their annual visit.

Despite the rain, the students had an inspiring afternoon, experiencing the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery and visiting the Marine Memorial.

They prepared posters of support for the veterans and lined walkways at the war memorials as the veterans entered and exited.

After the tour returned to Bensalem, the Maple Point Select Choir performed at the dinner honoring the veterans.
