Why are you seeking elective office?

As a Bensalem resident of the last twelve years, I felt now was the best time to have a new voice heard in the political arena. I also wanted to show the people of Bensalem that they have a choice, outside of the duopoly, at the municipal, county, state, and national levels.

My home is in Bensalem and I would like to see positive changes in the community.

The single most pressing issue facing our community is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The top issue facing Bensalem is fiscal responsibility. Bensalem residents need to know that their tax dollars are being spent responsibly to address the needs of the community and achieve our common goals.

As Mayor, I would direct a thorough review of all the financial records of the township, and fund distribution, with an eye toward complete transparency. I would like to see the budget list a line item for every expenditure, including all salaries for the township. This will enable us to better understand where we can eliminate unnecessary spending, and reduce taxes appropriately.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

As a third party (Libertarian) candidate, I have the ability to collaborate with all sides and find the best solutions for Bensalem. I also do not believe that solutions lie in creating more or bigger government but in the opposite.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)?

In Bensalem, we have had a stagnation of ideas, due to a lack of changing leadership. No person should ever hold power for an Extended period of time. 24 years is too long to be Mayor.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

As a Libertarian, I support the right of the individual to control their own life, body, and property, how they see fit, without government interference, so long as in doing so, they are not interfering with anyone else's right to do the same.

I am pushing for a term limit to the office of Mayor.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have held leadership roles in many organizations, some of which operate in a political manor.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Be yourself, and above all be consistent. People may agree or disagree with you, but they will never be able to say you were inconsistent.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I will work to strike down unnecessary regulations that stifle businesses. I would welcome business owners to work with myself and others in the municipality to make progress on these issues.

As a Libertarian, I support the decriminalization of marijuana. I support and individual’s freedom of choice in this matter.

I support all individuals’ rights to be true to themselves honestly and openly.
