Former Trevose Firefighter Sentenced In Rape, Child Porn Case
Paul Delp III was sentenced to 3 to 6 years in state prison for the assault and rape of a woman, as well as possession of child pornography.
TREVOSE, PA — A former Trevose firefighter has been sentenced to 3 to 6 years in state prison for the assault and rape of a woman, as well as for possessing child pornography.
Paul Delp III, who plead no contest to the sexual assault and rape of a woman, pled guilty to 20 counts of possessing child pornography back in August. He was sentenced for all charges on Monday by Judge Raymond F. McHugh.
According to Lower Bucks Source, police said that Delp III forced a woman to have both vaginal and oral sex with him on the second floor of a Trevose Fire Company station in August of 2019. Court documents say that the victim told Delp III to stop, but he continued the assault, covering her mouth so she could not scream.

After reporting the rape to a friend, the victim sought medical treatment for a forensic sexual assault exam. She told medical personnel she was bruised as a result of the assault.
Investigators in Bensalem began undercover contact with Delp III, posing as the victim over text. During the course of the conversation, Delp III acknowledged the assault and said he would never do it again as long as the victim "called off the cops right now."

As the investigation continued, and Delp III admitted to recording conversations with the victim, police discovered 20 images of children engaged in sex acts on his phone; he had allowed investigators access to his phone for extra data related to the assault case.
Delp III is now considered a Tier 3 S.O.R.N.A Offender, meaning he will be registered on the lifetime sex offender registration. He can have no contact with the victim or anyone under the age of 18. He will serve two years of probation after his initial sentence is served.
