‘Hero’ Family Members Save 2-Year-Old’s Life: Bensalem PD

BENSALEM, PA - Two members of a Bensalem family were honored by local government and officials after saving the life of a 2-year-old found unconscious.

After finding the young relative, Veysal and Zhafar Badalov performed “life saving” CPR to revive the child, Bensalem police said in a statement.

The Badalovs were recognized with a visit from Mayor DiGirolamo, Director McVey and members of Bensalem Township Public Safety on Aug. 10.

They will be formally recognized at a future council meeting, Bensalem police said.

“This incident highlights the importance of CPR training for anyone with children,” police added.
