The next closest to Parx was Sands Casino in Bethlehem with $25.85 million and Rivers Casino in Pittsburg with $24.9 million.
Despite its top ranking, Parx slots were actually down 9.32 percent over last July’s total of $36.65 million. That difference is likely due SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia, which wasn’t open last July. SugarHouse’s revenue last month was $14.55 million.

According to a release from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, slots revenue for July at Pennsylvania casinos, $218.3 million, was the single highest monthly period of revenue since legalized gaming was introduced into the Commonwealth in 2006.
In July, state casinos generated $118.77 million in taxes from slot machine play.
