Local Softball Team Wins Championship

The Bensalem Ramblers senior girls topped off a perfect season with a recent victory in the championship game against Bristol National.

The team finished the season 11-0.

“It was a perfect season,” said coach Ed Myers. “The girls worked very hard this season and exhibited great team spirit. They are all excellent ball players.”

The members of this champion team include: Megan Wajda, Nikki Wajda, Jenna McGee, Lauren Weeks, Sabrina Gramiak, Rachel Arndt, Jessica Schell, Kayla Tomes, Jacqui Smith, Katie Rooney, Erin Connelly, Lauren Christine, Stephanie Unger and Kaitlyn Ward.

They are coached by Myers, Jay McGee, Chris Steblein and Jess Berkhardt.

“On behalf of our team coaches and the Bensalem Ramblers organization, I wish our girls the best of luck in their upcoming Districts games,” Myers said.
