Lower Bucks Chamber Plans Meeting at Wood River Village
Officials will discuss public transportation in Lower Bucks County.

On Sept. 8 from 8 to 9:15 a.m., the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce will hold its general membership meeting and percolator program at , 3200 Bensalem Blvd.
The meeting’s program is Public Transportation in Our Region Speakers.  Speakers include SEPTA official Joseph M. Casey and Bill Rickett of TMA Bucks.
According to a release, Casey, a CPA and general manager, has been with SEPTA for 29 years and is committed to focusing the organization on delivering quality service to customers and the region through a comprehensive program of route enhancements, new vehicles and facilities, and initiatives focusing on environmental responsibility.

Casey will address recent improvements, the Governor’s transportation funding commission, how SEPTA can help the Business Community support the increase of mass transit available and schedules in the area.  Â
Rickett, executive director of TMA Bucks and Chamber Board Member, will give a brief overview of TMA’s role and what’s happening in Lower Bucks County.
