Man Charged With Soliciting Sex With Girl, 13, In Lower Bucks Co.
A Levittown man faces numerous charges after being charged Thursday for trying to lure a girl into a sexual encounter.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — A Levittown man faces numerous charges after he arrived in the township to meet a 13-year-old girl for sex, police said.
Ali Memis, 64, of Levittown, was charged with Attempted Indecent Assault, Attempted Statutory Sexual Assault, Unlawful Contact with Minors, criminal solicitation, and related offenses.
The Bensalem Township Police Department said Memis began talking to a juvenile female whom he suspected to be 13 years of age on a social media app.

Over the next week, the conversation became sexual with Memis sending messages about his desire to perform various sexual acts on the child and that he wanted to meet in person, police said.
Bensalem Police said he repeatedly told the child to delete her text messages and photos and asked if her mother could track her phone.

Memis then arranged to meet the 13-year-old at her township apartment for a sexual encounter when her mother wasn’t home, police said.
On Thursday, Memis left his work in New Jersey and drove to the child’s apartment complex for the sexual encounter. When Memis exited his vehicle to enter the apartment building, police were waiting and arrested him without incident.
No child was ever in danger during the investigation, police said.
He was arraigned by District Justice Terry Hughes and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $900,000 bail.
