BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Bensalem Police are investigating the "suspicious death" of a man found dead in a parking lot of a township hotel on Monday afternoon.

The man was identified by police as Zachary Dooney, 42, whose last known address was in Newville.

Police responded at 4:30 p.m. Monday to the parking lot of the Benjamin Rush Hotel (the former Neshaminy Motor Inn), at 2345 Old Lincoln Highway, for a body found.

Police found the body of a man who had no identification on him. Police used a mobile fingerprint scanner at the scene to identify Dooney.

He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with “Rob Nolfi Roofing” printed on the front and gray sweatpants.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance. Anyone who met or saw Dooney should contact Bensalem Police at 215-633-3719 or submit an anonymous tip via CrimeWatch.
