PA Man Behind More Than 80 Burglaries Nabbed, Bensalem Police Say
Alec Aposotlou was charged in connection with a "significant" six-month crime spree in storage facilities in Bucks County and Philadelphia.

BENSALEM, PA - A Pennsylvania man allegedly behind over 80 storage unit burglaries in Bucks County and Philadelphia has been arrested at long last, police said.
Alec Aposotlou was charged with six counts of burglary, six counts of criminal trespass, six counts of theft by unlawful taking and related offenses. Aposotlou also has active DUI and burglary warrants out of Bensalem, authorities said.
Aposotlou was arrested by an FBI, Bensalem police and Philadelphia police joint task force on Greeby Street in the Tacony section of Philadelphia as he exited a residence, Bensalem police said in a statement.

He was arraigned by Bucks County DIstrict Justice Jan Vislosky and was later lodged in Bucks County Correctional Facility, Bensalem police said.
Apostolou’s arrest marks the end of a “significant crime spree” that took place over six months and affected numerous people who had items stolen out of storage facilities in Bucks County and Philadelphia, Bensalem police added.

In the statement, Bensalem police thanked the FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department for their assistance in the investigation and arrest of Apostolou.
