Person Fatally Struck By Train At Lower Bucks Co. SEPTA Station
SEPTA said service has resumed on the Trenton line following the fatal accident at the Cornwells Heights Station on Wednesday.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A person was fatally struck by an Amtrak train near the Cornwells Heights Station at noon on Wednesday, SEPTA has announced.
SEPTA officials told Patch that service on the Trenton regional rail line has been suspended due to an investigation into the incident.
The person was struck at the Cornwells Heights Station on the 790 block of Station Avenue in Cornwells Heights, SEPTA said.

"Due to Amtrak striking an individual resulting in a fatality near Cornwells Heights Station, service is suspended until further notice. Alternate service suggestions are available using the SEPTA Trip Planner," SEPTA said in an X (Twitter) post Wednesday.
An email was sent by Patch to SEPTA officials seeking additional information.
