Police Make Seven Monday Arrests

Charges included retail theft, DUI, assault and harassment.

The following arrest information was provided by the Bensalem Township Police Department. It does not imply conviction.

On Monday, Oct. 17, Bensalem police made the following arrests:

At 10:10 a.m., Curtis Jackson, 19, of the 200 block of E. Albanus Street, Philadelphia, was arrested in the 3400 block of Horizon Boulevard, Trevose and charged with retail theft. He was issued a citation.

At 11:30 a.m., Marlene Varella, 23, of the 2900 block of Walnut Hill Street, Philadelphia, was arrested in the 2300 block of Street Road and charged with retail theft. She was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $55,000 bail.

At 12:20 p.m., Dominique Natelli, 18, of the 400 block of Turtle Lane, was arrested in the 3400 block of Horizon Boulevard, Trevose and charged with retail theft. She was issued a citation.

At 2:22 p.m., Allina Kaplun, 70, of the 9900 block of Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, was arrested in the 2300 block of Street Road and charged with retail theft. She will receive a summons.

At 4 p.m., Sheyla Ayala, 32, of the 2800 block of Ormes Street, Philadelphia, was arrested at the Macy’s Department Store, Neshaminy Mall and charged with retail theft. She was issued a citation.

At 5:42 p.m., Christina Carney, 54, of the 3300 block of Bryan Court, was arrested in the 2200 block of Bristol Road and charged with DUI. She will receive a summons.

At 7:09 p.m., Avis Clark, 55, of the 2800 block of Sussex Road, was arrested in the 4300 block Buckfield Terrace and charged with simple assault and harassment. She was released on $55,000 unsecured bail.
