: About a month before the Major League Baseball season begins, students at the Valley Elementary School in Bensalem got a surprise visit Monday morning from a nationally known baseball figure.

: At tonight’s meeting, he school board will approve the relocation of Davis Elementary School,  and Longstreth Elementary School students for the 2012-2013 school year.

: According to the agenda posted on the district website, the board will discuss budget development and the comprehensive annual financial report.

: The Hatboro Borough Council agreed  to let  extend a job offer to his first choice to fill a vacant slot on the force.

: Congregation Beth Solomon has submitted a sketch plan to redevelop the property at 22 Tomlinson Rd. in Huntingdon Valley, which includes a community center and high school.

: Northampton Township police also reported multiple thefts.

: Bristol Township police report several vehicles were vandalized.
